When I am faithless – He is Faithful

When I fall – He picks me up & heals my wounds

When I fear – He provides Faith

When I doubt, question & second guess -He allows my humanness because He can understand it!

When I feel broken & unworthy – He shows me His cross & reminds me of the high cost He paid for me!

When I am caught up in the storms of life – He is right there by my side!
He is always there!  He is never far away!  He is there even though I fail to recognize Him!  He has always been there and will always be!   He is the beginning and at the same time the end!  He is the answer, hope & solution for all my questions, problems & all my faults!

His name is JESUS!!!  

AWAKENING!!

THIS SUNDAY, January 15th , we will begin a new series that we conveniently labeled
“Awakening”.
  

Pastor Danielle will kick off this series in double time, this Sunday with a message that I know will bless you tremendously. We are also joining a virtual conference & movement called “AWAKENING” and starting a 21 day FAST.

What is ‘Awakening’? Awakening is an incredible event, consisting of churches and ministries all around the world, coming together in a virtual conference for a 21 day season of prayer, fasting and personal devotion at the beginning of each year.

So what should I do? Every day (beginning January 15th) you can go to this website:  http://awake21.org/  

Make a choice to join us for this 21 day FAST!   Perhaps you will fast 1 day per week or 1 meal per day. Remember one thing:  Fasting is NOT DIETING…. It is sacrificing something and then replacing that with more of God (Reading your Bible / Praying etc.)  Fasting is not always food related! You can fast other things that take up your precious time.

Then choose to Watch: Videos with Worship + Teaching from some amazing preachers that will be posted 3 times a day; 6am, 12pm (noon) and 7pm.  These sessions will be available at the daily scheduled times and on-demand anytime afterwards.

Do you need a breakthrough on something? Do you feel spiritually dry? Do you want to grow deeper with God this year? Don’t just pray to God…but participate with God as He moves! Develop the PUSH attitude “pray until something happens’ during this 21 days of fasting. Don’t stop praying until you get your breakthrough!

God did not just call us to PRAY about HIS will, but also to PARTICIPATE in it. Often Christians are willing to pray about some things and think that they’ve done their part…and then they get angry at God because He did not do something in the time frame they were expecting it to take place.

It’s time that we kick it into ‘high’ gear and break out one of God’s Weapons of Mass Destruction, “FASTING”! Prayer & Fasting is an essential, necessary, commanded and extremely powerful weapon which we should make more use of in the church. Let this be the year that we don’t just pray big prayers…but we take bold steps and believe that as we pray and participate we will see God do amazing things!

Remember these three things; Fasting is: Focused attention, Substitution, and Sacrifice!

 God has so much more in store for you than what you have experienced until today.  Ephesians 3:20 says that He “… is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”.  But, before you can set sail for God’s purpose in your life, you must ‘cut the rope, or raise the anchor’ that ties you to the past in your life.

You must forget your past hurts, offenses, and failures in order to move into your destiny. You must ‘cut the rope’ from our past failures.

You must also forget your past successes as well to move into your destiny. It’s not that you forget the good things. It’s that you don’t stay stuck in the past of what God did. You must move into what GOD IS DOING.

We don’t like to leave our comfort zone because…it’s comfortable in the zone. But if you want to reach your full potential in life, you have to be willing to leave your comfort zone. If you want something you never had, you’ll have to be willing to do something you’ve never done.

We want God to move, but we don’t want to change. We want everyone else to change. We want everything around us to change. But we don’t want change to begin with me. Change Begins with ME!

 In Mark 4:35-41 we can learn some powerful lessons.

Jesus spoke to them to leave the shore and set sail in the evening. That was not the time to sail. People sail in the daylight. But often Jesus commands us to step out in faith during what we think is the inappropriate time.

Jesus and his disciples got in the boat, cut the rope that tied it to the shore, and started out for the other side. They began their journey to the other side because Jesus told them to go. When they went, they encountered a fierce storm.

So just because God tells you to go, doesn’t mean the journey will be easy.

Every time heaven sends a memo that He is going to promote you, the devil sends an attack that will oppose you. Often a sign that you are on the right track is that you are being opposed on your journey.

In fact, with every blessings and promotion–comes a new enemy (spiritually). We wish for a midget enemy not for a Goliath. But in reality, the size of your promotion is often preceded by the size of your enemy.

If you have a HUGE obstacle in your way, you may just have a HUGE breakthrough on the horizon as well.

Now….. Just because God allows the storm, does not mean that you are not in the center of His Will. The same God who allows the storm, speaks to the storm and commands it to ‘BE STILL’. When the disciples encountered the storm, Jesus made sure that they arrived at the other side.

Never forget that HE is WITH YOU! 

Read these two scriptures:

Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

God RAISED US UP & WE ARE…. This is Not Past tense……  God wants you to live your life with a “2 MILE ATTITUDE” because this is the essence of Christianity!

Matthew 5:41 says “If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles”

This is the ESSENCE of Christianity! 

WATCH THIS!  By going the 2nd mile you will REVERSE who’s controlling the situation!

 When you take a step of FAITH, rise above, go beyond …..Something happens:

#1:  Gives the opportunity for Miracles!

#2: Let people see something special about you!

#3:  Releases Blessings!

It’s time to go BEYOND!  It’s time to go ABOVE! Many people are standing on the threshold and look in towards their blessings but, they never enter in.

The Essence of Christianity is found in the “2 Mile Attitude” This is also the key to unlock many blessings and miracles in your life!

The Dominican Republic is known worldwide for its white sands and lavish resorts, a popular sunspot for tourists. Even though the Dominican Republic caters to the tourist around the world, the nation is stricken with extreme poverty, where the average monthly salary is 10,000-15,000 pesos which is about $300-$500 American dollars. In fact, 29 % of the population lives in extreme poverty, with 17-20% of children suffering from chronic malnutrition. The opportunities are endless and the number of people that can be reached with just a little amount of money is enormous.
