Mother’s Day

Posted: May 11, 2007 in Church Planting, Vision Church

Isn’t it sometimes funny how we as Pastors sometimes dislike to preach on special occasions.  Christmas, Easter, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.  At least for me it seems like those messages are harder, because I am supposed to preach about a set subject.  However, I am pumped about this Sunday.  We are preaching a message that we call “Broken”.  In today’s society many moms end up feeling trapped, isolated, and broken.  They give and do so much for their families and often feel like they have no time to rest and receive for themselves.  Mom’s, this Sunday we have something special for you and I hope that you will leave encouraged and blessed!  Here is what I need to work on:  remember that everyday should be Mother’s Day.  I have learned that if mommy is happy everyone is happy.
