I was walking with my son the other day and all of a sudden he exclaimed enthusiastically “Fall is Here”. I look at him and saw him holding to brownish yellow leaf. What makes all of this quite interesting is, we live in Miami, Florida where summer is really the only season all year round.
To him, seeing a few leaves meant change; it meant fall. To me, all I saw was two brownish yellow leaves. Life is all about what perspective you have. If a person has bad eye sight, he or she goes to the eye doctor to correct their vision by adding a pair of glasses or contact lenses. For some people all they see is negativity and there is almost never anything that seems good in their lives.
What is your perspective? A God that can do anything. The beginning of a season of increase in your life. The fact that even the negative things that you are facing are only temporary, and that God can make a way even when there seems to be no way.
Attitude determines altitude. The road to the next level is always uphill. God has a perfect plan for imperfect people. These are all quotes that we have in our weekly bulletin at Vision Church and I really believe that all of them have a lot to do with what perspective we have.
Here is a thought “Try to see things God’s way“.
