Let’s be real, I am sure that a few of you who are reading this might have done it.  After all, most of us have had a bad restaurant experience and perhaps you did not totally “stiff”the waiter, but how much tip did you leave on that table?

This Sunday we are starting a series that we call “Finances 101.”  We are going to take an in-depth and very practical look at what the Bible has to say about finances.  How do you make a budget?  What is a Biblical way of “prosperity”?  How can I have a few hundred dollars extra a month?  If you are interested, these are 2 weeks that you don’t want to miss.

Here are some interesting facts about where we are at as a society today:

75 % of Americans live pay check to pay check
95 % of married couples fight about finances
The number one cause of divorce is financially related
The average 28 year old has over $66,000 in debt
Last year, the average American spent $1.22 for every $1 earned
|
62% of Americans will retire with less than $10.000 income per year
