It is always great to read and recommend a good book. It is even more special when the writer attends your church. Marie - Solange Benedicts book “Child of A Mountainous Land” tells the story of a woman’s childhood experiences in Haiti during the dictatorship of Duvalier and how she eventually came to America. It is a story of life change in-spite of personal disappointments. It is a story of how God’s mercy transcends cultural and racial barriers.
I am so happy to finally have my own copy. To me it it is not just a book, it is a dream that has become a reality and I am proud of Marie-Solange’s accomplishment.
