In life there are two different kinds of people – thermometers and thermostats. Think about it! A thermometer registers the temperature hot or cold. A thermostat on the other hand sets the temperature.
What kind of person are you? Do you bounce up and down, going through life on a roller coaster, one minute happy and the other minute sad? Are you influenced by external circumstances and in your walk with God you go between the extremes? If the answer to that is yes, then you are like a thermometer, you go with the flow.
As Christians we should be moved by God living in and through us. We should set the temperature and lead the way. Remember, people are starving for leadership.
