Far too many pastors forget the important principle that we are called to serve before the Lord. The truth is that a servant that does not please the Master will continue to be powerless. Are you a leader to please God, people, yourself or something else? This is a question that needs to be answered.
People can tell the difference as someone that has been in the presence of the Master. In Acts 4:13, it says: “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and took note that these men had been with Jesus”
