Change your thinking. Get beyond the barriers of the past and start expecting God to do great things in your life. In this new year and in this new decade what is going to change in your life? What do you need to stop doing and start doing. Is there anything that you need to do less or more?
Years ago people used to put wine in wineskins instead of bottles. As those skins aged they would harden and loose it’s flexibility. Because of that no one would pour new wine in an old wineskin, simply because of the fact that they would burst. Jesus talks about this in Luke 5:37-39.
What in your life is like an old wineskin? Do you have room if your life so that God can expand and so that God can pour more of Himself into you and your life? Perhaps you need to enlarge your vision and your thinking. Perhaps this is a season and the beginning of something new in your life!
