Sometimes things really don’t happen until we start to get desperate. Think about it, if you’re happy and content about where you’re at, why do something about it?
In 2 Kings 7 there is a POWERFUL story about 4 men with leprosy.
Things were so bad in Israel because of a famine that a woman had cooked her son and ate him…. that’s really messed up (1 Kings 6:26-29)
Now, in chapter 7 we have these 4 men with leprosy. They decided to move toward the impossible: They knew the worst the Syrians could do was kill them. They would die anyway if they did nothing.
They decided to move toward the impossible situation. When you move towards the impossible……..God acts in your behalf.
